The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a group of ladies who love to knit, sew, and create soft, beautiful shawls and other items, while enjoying fellowship at the same time.
What We Do
The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of every month in the Shepherd’s Gate.
PSM makes more than shawls and lap blankets. This ministry has expanded to also making:
- Covers for the “nap mats” for the Early Childhood Learning Center
- Busy Hand blankets for Alzheimer’s patients
- and adult bibs for both hospice and nursing home patients
How You Can Get Involved
PSM has found that we need volunteers who can sew. PSM could also use volunteers to iron labels onto our projects, keep inventory of our supplies, and to help keep track of what we donate.
If you have an interest in learning more, please send an email with your contact information to our Parish Secretary at aarruda@stpatrickmtdora.org.
