Lectors bring God’s word to life at Mass, as they proclaim the Scriptures and lead the Prayers of the Faithful. They devote time to preparing and reflecting on the readings in advance, so they may be proclaimed with familiarity, reverence, and love. Training includes an initial meeting and walk-through of procedures where new readers will receive a workbook and instructions for proclamation. Individual training is ongoing and workshops are offered periodically.
All readers should attend to meet with Thomas Grayford who will be coordinating our readers for mass.
