Who We Are
Lectors bring God’s word to life at Mass, as they proclaim the Scriptures, which helps to celebrate and refresh the faith of those assembled. Our Ministry is open to all adult men and women who wish to devote time to preparing and reflecting on the readings in advance, so they may proclaim with familiarity and reverence.
Training
After an initial meeting and walk-through of procedures, new readers will receive a workbook and instructions for proclamation. Individual training is ongoing.
All readers will meet with Sue Ray who coordinates our Lectors for Mass to learn more about the training and scheduling process.
