The Cursillo retreat weekend allows a Catholic to develop a deeper, stronger personal relationship with the Holy Spirit to enjoy for a lifetime.

As it says on the Orlando Cursillo website,“The Cursillo Movement is a movement of the Catholic Church. The Spanish word Cursillo means short course and is often associated with a 3-Day weekend.  The proper name is Cursillo de Cristiandad, essentially a short course of Christianity.  However, there is much more to the Cursillo Movement than just a 3-Day weekend.”*

Those who have completed a Cursillo weekend are invited to attend a monthly gathering called Ultreya.  This occurs on the third Thursday of every month in the St. Patrick Parish Hall from 6:30pm-8:00pm.  It is a chance to continue to live out the learnings from your Cursillo weekend.

All are invited to learn more about Cursillo and how your relationship with the Holy Spirit finds a new depth and meaning.

If you have an interest in learning more about Cursillo or attending a weekend, please contact the Parish Office at (352) 383-8556, or visit the Orlando Cursillo website at orlcursillo.org.
